Join the Friona Industries Internship Program and jumpstart your career in the feedlot industry! With locations across Kansas and Texas, Friona Industries offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in one of the most innovative and data-driven companies in the industry.

Our eight state-of-the-art feedyards are at the forefront of modern cattle management, and we are looking for motivated interns eager to learn and contribute to our vertically aligned production system. This program will give you the chance to work in one of five key departments:

  • Cattle: Master the art of cattle processing and gain insights into cattle management best practices.
  • Yard: Get involved in daily operations, problem-solving, and logistics that keep a feedyard running smoothly.
  • Mill: Dive into feed quality, nutrition science, and learn about ration management from start to finish.
  • Feed Delivery: Learn how cattle rations are delivered and their impact on animal health and well-being.
  • Office Support: Understand the data and operational dynamics that power a successful feedyard.

As a Friona intern, you'll lead a project focused on real-world challenges, providing solutions that boost feedyard efficiency and productivity. At the end of the program, you’ll present your findings to Friona Executives and Management—an incredible opportunity to showcase your work and expand your professional network.
